That’s Nuts!

Nuts typically grow in warm and temperate climates (places without extreme or drastic changes in weather). Each kind of nut needs to “keep its passport up to date” because nuts do a lot of international travel. Many nuts such as almonds filberts macadamia nuts pecans pine nuts California pistachios and walnuts are grown in theUS. Other nuts — such as Brazil nuts cashews coconuts Middle Eastern pistachios and European chestnuts — have to travel further to get to us.
