Breakthrough: Chapter 32
| May 25, 2016
When the dark-featured man with the sunglasses closed his hand on Benny’s arm it felt like a vise. “You’re coming with me!” he told the struggling boy dragging him toward the Mercedes.
Chaim and Moishe grabbed Benny’s other arm fighting to wrench their cousin from the stranger’s grasp but it was useless.
“Help! Help me!” Benny shrieked as the man yanked him away from the Neiman brothers and threw him into the backseat of the car.
“Hatzilu! Hatzilu!” Chaim and Moishe screamed at the top of their lungs. “Somebody help us!”

Inside the car Benny scooted across the seat and tried to open the other door but it was locked. As the man ran around to the driver’s side Benny tried the door on the passenger side. Both doors were jammed shut. Benny pounded on the glass windows. “Let me out! LET ME OUT!”
Glancing at Benny in the rearview mirror the stranger showed his teeth in an evil smirk. His triumph didn’t last long. Hearing Moishe and Chaim’s cries for help neighborhood boys came running from every direction to see what was happening. They surrounded the Mercedes on all sides. “Let him out!” they yelled in outrage banging on the car with their hands. “Open up!”
