Yitzy Waldner's fun, upbeat melody was perfect for this purpose

The new song sung by UZI BODNER for PROJECT TZITZIS is spreading great vibes about the mitzvah given in the third parshah of Shema. The project’s originator, Sholom Becher, who donates free pairs of tzitzis to anyone who is obligated to wear them, anywhere in the world, was looking for a song that would enhance the consciousness and love of the mitzvah, especially among those who were hesitant to wear their tzitzis in public. He commissioned several songwriters before discovering Yitzy Waldner, whose fun, upbeat melody was perfect for this purpose. Uzi Bodner delivers the vocals with freshness and precision. The lyrics are direct: “Ure’isem ure’isem u’reisem, uzechartem... es kol mitzvos Hashem, when I’m wearing them, it brings me closer, closer to Hashem… Ohhh, I wear my tzitzis , I see my tzitzis, ohhh, I love my tzitzis….”
