Pinny Visits Moscow
| October 13, 2010Now it’s time to park the plane and get ready for a train ride — a very very long one — it’ll take us fifteen days long to travel the entire stretch! The Trans-Siberian Railway which runs from Moscow to Beijing in China is the world’s longest rail line stretching almost 6 000 miles (10 000 km) over a third of the globe! It goes across two continents twelve regions and eighty-seven cities. We can stop off when we reach Vladivostok known as the pearl of the Far East on the border with China and nearly 9 000 km from Moscow! Here we can see lots of ships as Vladivostok is the headquarters of the Russian navy.
