"Ribbono shel Olam, allow us to daven to You the way we are used to…”

“When I was finally able to go to Eretz Yisrael again after waiting for so long, I made sure to bring a new tallis to wear at the Kosel, so that I could make the brachah of shehecheyanu.”

—Rav Yisroel Reisman

“The pasuk in Tehillim says, ‘Hakshivah l’kol shav’ii Malki ve’Elokai, ki Eilecha espalal.’ Maybe we can suggest that the pasuk can be read as follows: ‘Hear the sound of my pleas, my King… and what do I ask? Only that I be able to daven before You.’ Last year, we saw how our regular Yamim Noraim tefillos were taken from us, how we weren’t able to experience the Yamim Noraim like other years. We must start davening now already…. Ribbono shel Olam, allow us to daven to You the way we are used to…”

—Rebbe Aharon Teitelbaum of Satmar
