Middle Eastern Spiced Grilled Corn
This quick and easy side dish is a favorite when fresh corn is in season!
- 3–4 ears corn
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp sugar (optional) • 2 tsp za’atar • pinch cayenne pepper (or more, if you like things spicy)
Combine all spices in a small bowl and mix to combine. Spray each ear of corn with oil spray on each side, then sprinkle the spice mix over it. Roll the corn so the spices coat the surface fully. Broil or grill for 6–7 minutes per side, until the corn starts to char. Enjoy immediately.
