Your children will delight in creating this delicious menorah… and devouring it after it’s baked! The perfect dessert for Shabbos Chanukah or for a small family party.

You will need:

  • 1 package puff pastry dough (2 10x15-inch sheets)
  • oil, cinnamon, and sugar
  • confectioners’ sugar, for sprinkling

Roll out one sheet of puff pastry onto a sheet of parchment paper. Smear with oil and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.

Cover with the other sheet of puff pastry.

Follow the diagram below to cut out the menorah. (For best results, the menorah base should be 1-inch thick, and the branches should be 3/4-inch thick.) Twist each branch of the menorah as shown. Carefully transfer the parchment paper with your menorah on it to a baking sheet and bake until the menorah is puffed and golden.

Sprinkle with confectioners’ sugar before serving.
