Happening In Omaha

Omaha’s spiritual shares skyrocketed when a group of yeshivah bochurim joined the community this summer

Omaha, Nebraska is best known for housing some of the world’s largest corporate conglomerates, most notably Warren Buffet’s Berkshire Hathaway, whose shares trade at some of the highest indexes on the New York Stock Exchange. Yet even as market shares plummeted this past quarter, Omaha’s spiritual shares skyrocketed when a group of yeshivah bochurim joined the community this summer. Sent by Project Seed, a division of Torah Umesorah that directs groups of bochurim to communities across the fruited plains to plant “seeds” of Torah knowledge, the bochurim joined the Omaha community for a season of learning, inspiration — and as pictured here, some old fashioned fun.
