In a true mi k’amcha Yisrael moment, the entire staff showed up outside his home

When a LAKEWOOD-based health care corporation planned on a company outing recently, employees were all smiles. Yet the night before the planned excursion, one of the company’s employees tested positive for Covid and was unable to participate. He remained quarantined in his home, resigned to his predicament of missing the anticipated trip. But in a true mi k’amcha Yisrael moment, the entire staff showed up outside his home. If he couldn’t join the trip, let him become the trip. Today’s corporations spend endless resources on corporate culture, hiring teams of consultants and specialists to implement policies that will ensure positivity and a sense of inclusiveness. But for this group, it seems they’d already passed the course.
