Old favorites, new takes… all in a day’s work

Now I’m in the home stretch. I head outside along with my three-year-old sous chef and get the grill ready for action.

Some of my brothers like kugel with the stringy blade and some with the kugel blade, so I pulled a Shlomo Hamelech and did half and half. 

While the world was busy hoarding masks and posting memes, I took the road less traveled and used this grand opportunity to hone my cooking skills.

How I simultaneously helped my wife and had a great time in the kitchen.
