A Song That Gets Me into the Purim Spirit

It’s not a song of wild celebration, but encapsulates that ehrliche, geshmak Purim feeling

“Im al Hamelech Tov” (“... tinosein li, nafshi, nafshi, bi’sheilosi, ve’ami bevakashasi”). I personally relate to this Megillas Esther song by Meshulem Greenberger. I find that wherever I sing it, the crowd gets drawn into a real Purim spirit. It’s not a song of wild celebration, but encapsulates that ehrliche, geshmak Purim feeling — which is exactly what you’d expect from Reb Meshulam, a phenomenal composer with a very ehrliche bent.
