“I make sure to do this before every job”

I

“A

Meir Baal Haneis pushke. I put money in it before every job, and before I record. I started doing it years ago, at a wedding in Boro Park, when I felt completely exhausted during the first dance. I was honestly unsure whether I could summon up the energy to sing for the second dance. So I set some money aside for Rabi Meir Baal Haness, said a few chapters of Tehillim, and I felt like a new person and was able to complete the night with fresh energy. Ever since then, I make sure to do this before every job.” —Rabbi Shloime Taussig
